First thing is first; I DON’T CONDONE PIRACY! PERIOD! IF YOU USE THIS TUTORIAL/SOFTWARE YOU DO SO AT YOUR OWN RISK. I AM NOT PUTTING A KNIFE TO YOUR THROAT OR A GUN TO YOUR HEAD. DO NOT PIRATE! THE ONLY REASON TO USE THIS SOFTWARE IS TO BACKUP YOUR OWN GAMES SO THAT YOU CAN PUT AWAY THE DISC OR TO MAKE YOUR CURRENT GAMES LOAD FASTER.

This does not work if you’re on FW 3.56+

Things you’ll need:

Magic Mouse Win Drivers (32/64 bit)

Written by DarkLOME on . Posted in Apple

I did a lot of reading trying to get my Magic Mouse to work with Windows 7 (64-bit). I finally got it up and running.

Before Windows would just install it as a regular wireless mouse with no scrolling or swiping. I extracted the Windows Drivers from the Boot Camp update and included them here in a zip for everyone.

The instructions to install this are easy. This works for Windows XP, Vista and Windows 7. The zip file includes drivers for both 32bit and 64bit systems.

Download: Magicmousedrivers (592)

Extract it and select the appropriate folder for your operating system. Inside the folder you’ll find DPInst.exe.

Pair/Connect your Magic Mouse with your computer.

Right click on DPInst and select “Run as Administrator”. Once it’s installed, just reboot your computer and you’ll be all set.

Emulators for the PS3

SNES Emulator

First, You must have a Custom Firmware installed. If you don’t read the tutorial on how to get it setup.

Download: Snes9x-ps3-v4.4.9 (63)

Put that Pkg file on the ROOT of your USB Stick.
Also, put any ROMs you want to play on either your Internal PS3 Hard Drive (with the FTP program) or on your USB Stick. There are some ROMs in the Download Section.
Plug the USB stick to your PS3 and navigate to “Install Package Files”.
Click and choose the SNES pkg.
Once installed, open the Emulator and it will show you a File Explorer screen.
Navigate to your ROMs and pick the one you want to play.

Optionally you can download the Multiman Emulator Pack instead – MultiMAN EMULATOR PACK (SNES GENP VBA FBA FCEU) (20110611) (81)

Install Custom PS3 Firmware

Written by DarkLOME on . Posted in Playstation 3

***I DO NOT CONDONE PIRACY***

Real Simple. First, make sure you have the official firmware version 3.55 Installed.

Do NOT do this if you’re on 3.56+ Firmware!!!!

You will need a USB Stick formatted to FAT32.

  1. Make a Folder named PS3 on the USB stick
  2. Inside the PS3 Folder, make one called UPDATE
  3. Download the following: kmeaw’s 3.55 CFW Patched PUP
  4. Extract it and place the *.PUP file into the UPDATE folder on the USB stick.
  5. Plug the USB stick into your PS3
  6. Do a system Update from the Stick, not the internet.
  7. Hit YES on everything. The PS3 will beep a few times and turn off.
  8. Turn it back on. If all went well, you’ll see a new item under the Games section called “Install Package Files”.
  9. Done.
